Kind
Barleyleap has always been a kind, considerate, friendly cat. She always tries to put on a positive face, even if she's upset, because she doesn't want others to worry about her, and she wants others to be happy.

Rash
She's a master of the notion "Leap first, think later." She usually labels this as being determined, which isn't always untrue because she is a very driven cat, but sometimes she lets her instinct cloud her judgement. She tends to do and say a lot of things without thinking, in hunting, fighting, relationships, anything. It sometimes pays off to act on instinct, but it's gotten her in trouble more than a few times. She never seems to learn from it either.

Tomboy
She's always been a tomboy, from the moment she was born with two older brothers. She's always found it rather hard to fit in with the she-cats and would rather get down and dirty over getting pampered any day. Since she's had kits, however, she's become a bit more effeminate. But her tomboy tendencies remain prominent.

Insecure
This has only gotten worse as she's gotten older. Potentially losing her love to another made her feel as though she wasn't female enough for any tom, and having a damaged shoulder has made her afraid that she won't be able to continue serving her clan and that others will look down on her. It's unclear where everything started, but regardless, it exists. It is not, however, in any way crippling to her social life or her determination to get things done.

Motherly
Despite her tomboyish ways, she's always been good at taking care of others and making them feel loved. She's not sure where she learned it - her mother left before she could really teach her daughter how to be a mother. But it appears she's simply a natural at it.

Hareleap: My father. I never knew him, but I learned his name from Patchstar when I joined the clan. I know he was a brave warrior, but I wish I had really known him.
Dapple(pelt): My mother. She was so kind when I first knew her. But then she left... I guess I never saw the sadness in her.

Burlap: My eldest brother. He was always the leader it seems. So rash and impatient. I wonder how he fares now.
Basil: My other brother. He was the intellegent one out of all of us. It's funny how Burlap acted as the leader - it was really Basil who pulled the strings.
Timidbreeze: My little sister [adopted]. I'm so proud of the she-cat, and mother, she's become~ I'm glad we've started to really spend time together again. I missed her company.

Sorrelfox: My best friend. We were mates, but we broke it off. Of course... now I'm pregnant..... I just feel so alone.
Kestrelflight: One of my twin daughters. She's a strong one.
Mossfire: My other twin daughter. I hate what she's had to go through... I never wanted that for any of my kits. I will always be there for her.
Harekit: My son... //looks away, eyes wet. I'm sorry... I still can't talk about him.
Saplingheart: My adopted son. //chuckles. He's a funny one. I'm proud of who he's become. He'll always be a true son to me.

 Friends 
Patchstar: Oh Patchstar... she was always such a good friend to me, sort of like a mother-figure. I'm sad she's gone, and I miss her every day. But I'm happy she's in a better place; perhaps she can take care of...
Deathsong: My old mentor. I consider him more as a friend than anything, and I'm grateful for all he's taught me.
Eagletalon: We've been friends since we were apprentices. I'm glad things worked out for him and Rockfall~
Breezemoon: I've known him since we were both apprentices. //mrrows in laughter. It's funny to think he was always ahead of me in training, but I was older than him. Starclan works in strange ways, I suppose. He's always been kind to me and has helped me more than I could ever thank him for.
Burrowtoes: I wish she wouldn't have starved herself... If only I'd done something more for her..


 Acquaintances 
Cliffstalker: I met him when I was an apprentice at the Fireclan border. We may or may not have had a tree climbing contest //laughs. I hope we can talk again one day.
Blackfire: I also met him at the border, but at a different time. He seemed like a very kind cat - I wonder if we'll meet again.
Willowpool: She's a kind cat. I find it's actually very easy to talk to her. I... can't stop being jealous of her, though. Although... it's less now. I feel like I did the right thing, though, breaking up with Sorrelfox...
