_{"Pleaaaaaaaaaaase, Deathsong?" Barleypaw pleaded. Her mentor, Deathsong, stood poised in front of her, his icy blue eyes staring into her gleaming green ones. "No; you need to rest your leg." He glanced coldly at her hind leg, which was still healing after being fractured by Dawncloud. The apprentice huffed at him.
"I can handle it! Besides, I'm tired of resting." She said, stamping her front paw on the ground, "Please, let me help you!"
