Breezekit looked down at the 3 battered kits. Songkit.. Briarkit... and Windkit.. He had come to say his last goodbyes, leaving Spicekit to his own devices for but a few moments.
Why had this happened? He understood that Fireclan was mourning for their own losses, but since when was it okay to kill kits as revenge for that? He licked Songkit's shoulder as he walked past the she-kit's now cold body. Would she get to be with Thunderlight once more in Starclan? He brushed his tail across Briarkit's shoulders. She had only been part of the clan for such a short time; it wasn't fair that all she had seen while part of it was fighting. He nosed Windkit's forehead gently. He hadn't really known her, but surely she had never done anything to deserve this fate.
He looked over all of the bodies once more as he circled around to the other side of the small line they made. He knew they would be safe in the stars, but... it didn't make any of this right. With tear-filled eyes he gazed up at Silverpelt, wondering if the kits' stars were now one with it.
Saying one final goodbye, Breezekit padded back over to Spicekit, pushing his nose into his foster brother's good shoulder.
This just couldn't be right.

Basically, we're doing the song above in chorus and it inspired me to draw this~
I couldn't find any SATB versions of the song that were good though, so you just get a TTBB version (I'm guessing is what it is)
I feel like I'm making Breezekit overly emotional xD
But then again, he kind of is right now
